Kazakhstan Achieves Its Best Result in a Decade in the Global Innovation Index 2026

In the WIPO Global Innovation Index, Kazakhstan ranked 73rd among 139 economies, moving up 8 positions. This is the country’s best result in the past 10 years.
Kazakhstan ranks 1st in Central Asia and 2nd among the 11 economies of Central and Southern Asia.
Kazpatent directly provides WIPO with statistical data in the field of intellectual property. This contributes to ensuring the relevance and quality of Kazakhstan’s data used in the preparation of international indicators.
In the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, intellectual property has received direct constitutional recognition as an important element of the country’s innovative development.
